Caustic soda is an important basic chemical raw material, widely used in papermaking, textile, petrochemical, printing and dyeing and other industries. There usually are pearls, flakes and liquid in the market.
Below we introduce one of the usage in Oil field.
In oil field, it usually used to adjust and control the PH value of drilling fluid. And the pearls is more popular than flakes, as the dust is small and dissolves quickly, it’s convenient on using. Another one of the important reason is the package. Some places where oil production are very humid. If used ordinary packaging, caustic soda is easy to absorb carbon dioxide and water in the air and produce Na2CO3, thus affecting the use. The packaging of iron drum is convenient for storage and can effectively prevent this problem. And effectively avoid floccules of the woven bag into oil.
